Solar, batteries & energy systems in The Basin 3154.

01Local context
Energy in The Basin & the outer east.
Outer east
The outer east is dominated by 1960s–90s brick residences on generous blocks, one of Melbourne's best residential solar profiles. Many residences here already have first-generation solar installed, so a growing share of our work is adding batteries to existing arrays, upsizing systems as usage electrifies, and replacing end-of-life gas appliances with efficient electric equivalents.
Our 3154 assessments follow the same discipline everywhere: review your bills and interval data, inspect the switchboard and roof, confirm network settings, then model options with transparent assumptions. You see the working, not just a payback figure.
Climate
Closer to the ranges, the outer east runs cooler and wetter than the metro average, with winter heating the dominant household load for much of the year.

Your local distributor.
AusNet Services
This area is typically served by AusNet Services, whose network covers Melbourne's outer east and north-east and much of eastern and northern Victoria. Fringe and rural feeders can carry different export limits, so confirming the current settings for your address is a standard part of our assessment.

Every property in 3154 is different, which is why we don't publish fixed prices or guaranteed savings figures.
