01Local context
Energy in Corio & Greater Geelong.
Geelong & the Bellarine
Greater Geelong combines heritage inner suburbs, post-war family areas and some of Victoria's fastest-growing new estates toward Armstrong Creek, plus coastal townships on the Bellarine. New estates suit battery-ready solar from day one; established areas often pair solar retrofits with switchboard upgrades. On the coast, salt-air durability is part of the specification, not an upgrade.
Two properties a street apart in Corio can face different export limits and connection requirements, because Powercor settings apply at the connection point, not the suburb. That's why our proposals always reflect the rules at your address rather than a suburb-level assumption.
Climate
Geelong runs slightly cooler and drier than Melbourne, with cold winter mornings keeping heating loads high and summer cooling demand moderate.
02Network
Your local distributor.
Powercor
This area is typically served by Powercor, which covers Melbourne's west and most of western and regional Victoria. Export limits and connection arrangements can differ between urban and rural feeders, so we confirm the settings that apply to your address before finalising any design.

04Common projects
What we typically design in Greater Geelong.
Solar and batteries for new estates and established residences
Coastal-grade installations on the Bellarine
Heat pump hot water upgrades
Small commercial rooftop solar
If you're weighing up solar, a battery or a broader electrification plan in Corio, the most useful next step is a site-specific assessment, not a generic quote. We'll review your usage, your roof and the network rules that apply to your address, then show you what's actually worth doing.
