Step-by-step guide
About 5 minutesSOFAR system showing offline
Check whether only monitoring is offline while the solar and battery system continues to operate locally.
Your official monitoring app
Download the right app for SOFAR
Use the app named in your Esena handover. These buttons open verified Apple App Store or Google Play listings.
Use this current SOFAR monitoring app when it matches your handover or existing account.
Choose carefully: Use the SOFAR customer app named in your Esena handover—usually SofarCloud or SolarViews for supported systems. Do not create a duplicate plant or use installer-only tools.
Check the app’s last-updated time and look at visible lights or the display from a safe distance.
- 01Open the SOFAR app and record the plant’s last-updated time, device status and any message.
- 02Check that home internet works on another device, then fully close and reopen the SOFAR app.
- 03From a safe distance, photograph the inverter or logger lights and any visible display message. Do not open covers or touch wiring.
- 04If the router name or password changed, use Reconnect SOFAR Wi-Fi above. Do not unplug the logger.
- 05If the plant remains offline after 10–15 minutes, create a ticket with the timestamp, app screenshot, logger photo and whether the home still has power.
ImportantA monitoring outage does not always mean the solar or battery has stopped. Esena can review the communication device and system data safely.
