Reconnect a SOFAR communication device using the customer app or the model-specific logger procedure.

Download the right app for SOFAR
Use the app named in your Esena handover. These buttons open verified Apple App Store or Google Play listings.
Use this current SOFAR monitoring app when it matches your handover or existing account.
Choose carefully: Use the SOFAR customer app named in your Esena handover—usually SofarCloud or SolarViews for supported systems. Do not create a duplicate plant or use installer-only tools.
Have the home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi password ready, keep your phone near the inverter or logger and do not unplug or open any equipment.
- 01Check that home internet works on another device and that the router’s 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is enabled. SOFAR Wi-Fi sticks do not support 5 GHz networks.
- 02Open the SOFAR app named in your handover and use its customer-visible Device, Find Device or Wi-Fi/Network Configuration option.
- 03Select the correct SOFAR device, choose the home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and enter the password carefully. Keep the app open until it confirms the change.
- 04If your handover or SOFAR model manual specifically directs you to the logger hotspot, connect only to the AP network matching the logger serial number and use the password printed on the logger label.
- 05If the model-specific procedure opens a browser at 10.10.100.254, follow the supplied SOFAR manual only. Do not guess a password or change any other setting.
- 06Reconnect your phone to normal home Wi-Fi, wait up to 10 minutes and refresh the app. If the system stays offline, photograph the logger label and visible lights and create a ticket.
ImportantSOFAR logger models use different customer setup paths. Do not remove the logger, factory-reset it or change installer parameters. If the handover and app do not show a clear customer path, contact Esena.
