Reconnect Sungrow Wi-Fi

Reconnect the Sungrow communication dongle through iSolarCloud using the customer WLAN flow.

Your official monitoring app

Download the right app for Sungrow

Use the app named in your Esena handover. These buttons open verified Apple App Store or Google Play listings.

iSolarCloud

Sungrow’s customer monitoring app for solar and battery systems.

Choose carefully: Use iSolarCloud for Sungrow customers. Do not create a second plant or use installer-only commissioning tools.

Before you start

Have the home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi password ready, stand near the inverter and proceed only when the WLAN button or dongle is clearly labelled and accessible. Never open the inverter or unplug the dongle.

  1. 01Open iSolarCloud. If you are logged in, select Support → WLAN Configuration. If you are on the login screen, choose WLAN Configuration there.
  2. 02Follow the app prompt and choose the direct WLAN connection option. The exact label can vary by Sungrow dongle model.
  3. 03When your phone’s Wi-Fi settings open, join the SG-XXX network that matches the serial number printed on the communication dongle. If it is not visible, do not unplug the dongle—return to the app and retry once.
  4. 04Return to iSolarCloud, confirm the direct connection and choose Network Configuration.
  5. 05Select your home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the router password carefully and tap Confirm / Continue.
  6. 06Wait for the success message, reconnect your phone to normal home Wi-Fi and reopen Site Overview. Allow up to 10–15 minutes for the last-updated time to refresh.
  7. 07If the plant remains offline, photograph the dongle label and visible lights and create a ticket. Do not use installer parameters or factory-reset the device.

ImportantSungrow menus and dongle behaviour vary by model. Only use the WLAN button when it is clearly marked as customer-accessible in your handover; if the button or network is unclear, call Esena.
