Download the right app for AlphaESS
Use the app named in your Esena handover. These buttons open verified Apple App Store or Google Play listings.
Choose carefully: Use AlphaESS for customers. AlphaPartner is for installers and should not be used for owner monitoring.
Turn on phone Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, stand close to the system and have the home Wi-Fi name and password ready.
- 01Open the AlphaESS customer app, select the system and open Network / Wi-Fi Configuration.
- 02Start configuration. The app searches for the nearby communication module hotspot; select the module that matches the system.
- 03Follow the prompt to connect the phone to the communication-module hotspot.
- 04Return to AlphaESS, choose the home Wi-Fi network and enter its password.
- 05Wait for the success message, then return to the system home page and confirm the last-updated time is current.
- 06If the module cannot be found or the screens do not match, stop and create a ticket with the model and communication-module label rather than trying installer setup.
ImportantAlphaESS network screens vary by model and module. The current official process has two stages: connect to the communication-module hotspot, then connect that module to the home Wi-Fi.
