Step-by-step guide
5–10 minutesOne battery or battery rack is offline
Check a single battery or rack that is missing from the app without touching battery cables or covers.
Need the SOFAR monitoring app? Open the app articleBefore you start
Open the device list in your monitoring app and note the rack or battery number, its last update and any warning shown.
- 01Confirm whether the whole system is offline or only one battery/rack is missing. Do not assume a single offline device means the entire battery has stopped.
- 02Open the device or battery list and record the exact rack number, last-updated time, warning text and battery percentage shown.
- 03From a safe distance, photograph the battery rack lights and the full battery bank. Do not remove covers, touch battery cables or open the switchboard.
- 04Only look at a clearly labelled, customer-accessible battery breaker or isolator if your Esena handover says it is safe to check. Do not repeatedly reset it or change switch positions.
- 05If one rack remains offline while the others are online, create a support ticket with the rack number, app screenshot, light photo and whether the home still has power.
ImportantBattery racks communicate as part of the complete inverter and battery system. Esena or a qualified technician must handle battery resets, wiring and internal switches.
